Jute tea Pure
The world's first herbal tea made from leaves of the jute plant. The taste of pure jute tea is similar to that of green tea, but with one striking advantage: jute tea has no caffeine and is therefore very digestible. At the same time, the nutrient-rich jute leaves offer a balanced mineral composition, protective antioxidants and strengthening polyphenols. The alkaline herbal tea from the northeast of the Indian subcontinent inspires tea drinkers from the first sip and represents a real innovation on the tea market.
Minerals & trace elements
Jute leaves have a high mineral content. Especially iron, calcium, potassium and magnesium are found in significant amounts, as are the trace elements zinc and selenium. Thus our jute tea represents the complete alkaline mineral spectrum.
Polyphenols for your immune system
Jute leaves are rich in secondary plant substances with antioxidant potential. In particular chlorogenic acid, astragaline, phloricine, procyanidine B1 and miquelianin act as radical scavengers in jute leaves and protect the cells.
Our jute tea contains no caffeine (also called theine in tea) and can therefore be drunk by children without hesitation. Furthermore, our jute tea is ideal for the evening hours.
That`s how Jute Tea Pure tastes like:
- like a mild blend of herbal tea and green tea
- slightly grassy, exotic note
- soothing and vitalizing at the same time
How to prepare jute tea in a tea bag
The large-volume premium pyramid bags made of cellulose are fully compostable and allow the aroma to develop freely. Each pyramid bag contains 1.5 g jute tea pure. We like jute tea best when we let boiling water cool down to about 85 °C or cool it down with a shot of cold water. The infusion time is between 4 and 5 minutes, depending on taste.
Tip: You can even use our sustainable tea bags for a second infusion!
